6 new LPG-carriers signed with STX

TGE Marine Gas Engineering is pleased to announce the signature of 6 contracts with STX Shipbuilding, Korea, for design and supply of gas handling systems.

Four new LPG- carriers of 9,000 cbm capacity will be built by the yard for Naftomar of Greece, while two ships of 6,500 cbm capacity have been signed by the yard with Eships of the UAE.

TGE’s CEO Manfred Küver points out: “We are pleased to have been awarded these contracts with STX against strong competition. TGE has a long standing relationship with STX and the new contracts will lead to a total number of 18 gas carriers built by STX, all of which being equipped with TGE plants.”
