Natalie M. is such a kind of employee at TGE Marine. As a student currently studying for her Master of Science with a focus on General Management, she was looking for an organisation, which would allow her to combine her studies and working in the field to enhance her theoretical learning. Natalie was browsing the local job market pages and saw an advertisement for a Human Resources position. She found the job description and company profile interesting and applied for the position. The first interview with two members of the TGE Marine HR-Team was a Teams interview with two of Natalie’s potential colleagues.
In this call, Natalie was introduced to TGE Marine with a brief overview of the organisation, its vision as well as the potential tasks she would be conducting if she were successful.
Natalie remarks that already on the first call, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The interview panel was able to pull Natalie into a comfortable conversation and both parties left the first call feeling interested. Soon the call for an in-person interview came and Natalie attended to the offices. The initial impression remained and soon Natalie started in her position as working student in the Human Resources Department.
From the beginning, Natalie has been a fully-fledged team member and has been able to be part of a variety of tasks, from independent projects, as well as larger projects with other colleagues. “This position really allows me to get a full 360 view. Working with the team, I have been able to get a real sense of the different tasks that the Human Resources team deals with” explains Natalie when asked whether she has been able to get a good overview of the department’s tasks.
In her duties, Natalie supports the team with all types of activities such as the rollout of the new Personnel management software, analysis of activities as well as providing support with the different stages of recruitment process.
